The mission of this movement is to ensure that people who have had expungements pursuant to California Penal Code Section 1203.4 will not be discriminated against for the presence of a criminal history when they have submitted fingerprints for a background check for employment in a Federal, State, County, or Local government agency, department, or office, employment in a private company, licensing at Federal, State, County, or Local government level, applying for an international visa, applying for a visa for an international fiancé.

Brethren, I do not consider myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead. Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother's way. For I know the thoughts I think toward you says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. Let each of you look out not for your own interests, but also for the interests of others. For in fact the body is not one member but many. But now indeed there are many members, yet one body. And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with that member, or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with that member. Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endureance the race that is set before us (Philippians 3:13, Romans 14:13, Jeremiah 29:11, Luke 11:9, Philippians 2:4, I Corinthians 12:14, I Corinthians 12:20, I Corinthians 12:26, & Hebrews 12:1 respectively).
