Asked Questions Feedback

The Church of My Faith in God seeks to reward those who have proven themselves worthy in their abstinence from a life of crime after they have had either an accusation dismissed by a judge pursuant to California Penal Code Section 1203.4. In addition, this proposal seeks to reduce the recidivism by providing an incentive of restoration and hope to those who may be affected by this proposition to avoid crime. We need your feedback so that we can make the best informed decisions based on facts.

Study to show thyself approved unto God, a worker that need not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15).
Existing studies of self-report crime surveys of adults have found that 9 out of 10 people (actually more than 90%) in the United States have committed crimes for which they could have been found guilty and imprisoned. Studies also show that out of 14.5 million people arrested in the United States of America, approximately 36,250 people are wrongly convicted. In all felony convictions, roughly 9 out of 10 people (90%) plead guilty or no contest in exchange for a lesser sentence through plea bargaining and even more people plead guilty or no contest in exchange for a lesser sentence in misdemeanor cases. The largest follow-up study found that of 108,580 inmates released from prisons in 11 states, 67,863 (62.5%) people were rearrested for a felony or serious misdemeanor within three years of release: a process commonly known as recidivism (Bohm & Haley, 2002).

As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:10, 23);

The Church of My Faith in God has put together the following survey to assist us in our Movement for Expungement Reform. All information received from this survey are for research purposes only and will remain confidential. Private information will not be furnished without the consent of the person furnishing such information. The answers received here will help us make a more credible argument in order to convince government representatives and or voters to support the Clean Slate Expungement Reform proposition created by The Church of My Faith in God. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (I John 1:9).
